I am thrilled to once again share that two of my works have made it to the finals round of the American Prize for Excellence in Composition. My art song cycle Three Poems of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and my choral setting of Walt Whitman's poem Tears have both been announced as semi-finalists in this years' first round of judging. If you haven't heard these works, I urge you may navigate to the Vocal Art Songs and Choral Music pages on my website, or click on the song titles above to be directed to the appropriate pages. Now on to the next round. Wish me luck!!
